Refunds & Cancellations
Refunds on Scoom are governed by each event organizer's own cancellation terms for their event, since organizers - not Scoom - decide whether and when an event is cancelled.
If an organizer cancels an event
When an event organizer authorizes the cancellation of an event, customers who booked tickets for that event receive a full refund. Any payment gateway charges associated with that refund are borne by the organizer - they are never deducted from the customer's refund amount.
Ticket cancellations by customers
Customers cannot cancel individual tickets themselves once a booking is complete. All cancellations are organizer-initiated: if you can no longer attend an event, contact the event's organizer directly to check whether they allow individual cancellations under their own event terms.
How refunds are processed
Where a refund is due, it is issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Refund processing times depend on your bank or payment provider.
